    1. Thanks, Carol! We love to change things up occasionally too (like what we rest upon the shadow boxes or dining room shelves and, of course, for the holidays). (Rob)

    1. There is always a smile and an "I remember..", followed by a brief story about their childhood and how it relates to something in our home. It's nice to hear them share their memories! :) (Rob)

  4. Was that a subtle way of letting me visit 'MY' long lost RED COOKIE CANISTER?? Thanks. 8-) L.O.V.E. the trail of coconut heads on the stairs... which reminds me, time to set ours free to the summertime porch! Have a great weekend, and thanks for letting us 'snoop'!!

    1. Thank YOU, svelteSTUFF for looking!!! No matter what ways we change our home, those red lustreware canisters will always be a part of our kitchen. We both have such fond memories of those being in our childhood homes (as I know you do too). I have a great picture of my grandmother in her kitchen in the 1960's, a house I spent so much time in since she lived next door to me, and the red canisters are there. They seemed to be there forever! :) (Rob)
